ACC hotline launched: 2 thousand complaints on the first day!
The Anti Corruption Commission (ACC) has launched a hotline in connection with corruption prevention. There were more than two thousand complaints on the first day of the launch of the hotline.
Of these, 55 complaints were received in serious consideration and sent to the commissioner concerned in the investigation. ACC will get the investigation after getting the permission.
'ACC Hotline -106' was inaugurated at ACC head office on Thursday. Then, from 9am to 3pm, two thousand complaints are received from the call center.
But the call center was open until 5pm. As it is, more allegations will come in the next two hours.
In this regard, the ACC's center manager Selina Akhter Moni said that the hotline has been set up to establish direct link between the people and to get quick information on the corruption. The first day was a huge response.
More than two thousand calls have been received till 3pm. From here 55 complaints have been sent to the commissioners for serious investigation. Will be investigated if approved.
At noon, at the ACC office, it is seen that five ACC officials are receiving calls in front of the computer. The complainant complained about the phone and wrote it.
