Demra arrested two members of JMB

RAB-11 members of two active members of Sarwar-Tamim group were arrested by the banned militant outfit Jamaatul Mujahideen Bangladesh (JMB).

JMB members arrested - Narayanganj Rupganj Upazila Tushar Habib alias Ayub (26), and the same upazila. Abu Bakar Siddiqui (35)

They were arrested on Wednesday (July 19th) in the capital city of Demra in the deep night. There are several cases against them, including sophistication.

Additional Superintendent of Police of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB-11) located in Adamjeej of Narayanganj. Shakeel Ahmed told banglanews that the arrestees said in the initial interrogation that they were present in secret meeting on June 10 in Purbachal Housing Sector 19 of Rupganj. JMB (Sarwar-Tammim Group) was involved in planned sabotage activities.

He said, in initial interrogation, Tusher Habib alias Ayub confessed that he is an active member of the Dawah branch of Gauchia area under Rupganj Police. Md. Abu Bakar is a member of the JHB member of Jeddah. They have been working on behalf of JMB for the last two years.
